Rachael's heading back into the studio this month to begin work on album #9 (woohoo!), so not too many shows pending - but here's a plethora of news to catch y'all up on, in the meantime...

1. RACHAEL SAGE CDS ON SALE FOR DECEMBER AT CDBABY
Just in time for the Holiday Season, we're having a special sale of Rachael's music at CDBaby.com! All albums will be available for the special, low price of $10 through the end of December. This is the perfect time to share Rachael's infectious art-pop with friends & family, and fill in any gaps in your own collection!
2. NEW RACHAEL SAGE ALBUM IN THE WORKS
It's that time of year again - when your favorite sequined songstress hunkers down to craft y'all some glittery new music. While the next album won't be released until late 2009 or possibly even early 2010, winter's the perfect time to record and thereby, avoid the cold. Once again, Rachael will be self-producing and working with longtime engineer John Shyloski. More details to come!
3. JUDY COLLINS/WILDFLOWER RECORDS RELEASE TO INCLUDE "MEMORY"
We're incredibly excited to announce that Rachael's song "Memory" will be included on Wildflower Records' forthcoming compilation of songs
of social and political change, "Got To Get A Message To You". Other artists appearing on the album include Amy Speace, Kenny White and yes - the incomparable Judy Collins! Look for it in stores nationwide starting January 13th.
4. AMERICAN AIRLINES JANUARY 2009 PROGRAM TO FEATURE RACHAEL
If you're travelling on American Airlines in January, be sure to listen for Rachael's song "Alright, OK" on their in-flight music program. Other artists include Oasis, Matt Nathanson, The Cure and The Verve!
5. MPRESS RECORDS TO ATTEND MIDEM CONFERENCE IN CANNES, FRANCE
MPress Records will be attending the international music conference MIDEM in January. We'll be seeking music licensing opportunities in European, Asian and Canadian territories, as well as Film/TV, Mobile Media placement and international touring opportunities for Rachael. If you or someone you know is attending, drop us a line...

- Rachael's song "Wildflower" has been nominated for an INDEPENDENT MUSIC AWARD, in the Film/TV Category (other nominees inclide Martin Sexton and Jeff Healey). Please visit the IMA Finalist Jukebox, where you can VOTE as part of the IMA Vox Populi poll and let your voice be heard!
- "Vertigo" has been selected for the launch of CRUISE CONTROL, an on board entertainment service which features music and video on the world's biggest cruise lines. The service launched this month on Carnival Cruise Lines and will run through mid-January...

7. WINTER SHOWS...PLUS SPRING/SUMMER 2009 SHOWS BOOKING NOW!
Only a few appearances over the next couple months (see below), but Rachael's booking agent is hard at work making sure she'll be coming to a venue near you in 2009! If you have specific ideas for a great venue you feel she should play on her next national tour, please email us with ideas and we'll pass them along to her agent. In the meantime, New Yorkers can catch Rachael's last show of the year Dec. 23rd, and hopefully some of you can come hear her at Folk Alliance in Memphis in February!
