Dear mishpuchah! I hope wherever you are, you're with friends & family, and keeping warm as we celebrate the New Year :) Like many folks, I've been reflecting on 2013, and smiling as I remembered so many highlights that have brought me closer to you all, and that have deepened my appreciation of music itself. Foremost, I want to express my enormous gratitude to each and every one of you for coming to the shows, spreading the word about my releases, visiting me on Facebook and Twitter, and/or any of the other creative ways you've chosen to keep in touch. It's a privilege to be able to continue to share my music and artwork with y'all in so many different settings, and I can't wait for what 2014 will bring! Also, for those of you in the United States, I wanted to invite you to join me in watching the upcoming premiere of Lifetime Network's "Dance Moms", which – rumor has it – may be featuring my song "Birthday" on New Year's Day (Jan 1st, 9/8c). As a former ballet dancer myself, it means a great deal to see talented dancers perform to my music, and I may need a box of Kleenex in case I get a little varklempt!
