Spring is in the air and Rachael's currently on tour in the South working the fishnets and sundresses, as we write. SXSW is just around the corner, and for those of you who'll be attending, we can't wait to see you on March 21st in Austin, at MPressFest SXSW 2009! 1. MPRESSFEST SXSW 2009: RACHAEL PERFORMS 3/21 AT SOHO LOUNGE

MPressFest returns to Austin with our annual SXSW day party, once again at SOHO Lounge on 6th Street, Saturday March 21st from 12-5pm. Rachael performs at exactly 3:45pm, so don't be late or you'll miss her! Here's the full lineup for the day:

2. RACHAEL INVITED TO SPEAK ON PANEL AT SXSW, 3/18

Rachael will be participating in the "Artist As Entrepreneur" panel at SXSW, moderated by Sonicbids founder Panos Panay. The panel will also feature such music-biz entrepreneurs as Derek Sivers (Founder, CDBaby), Jeff Price (TuneCore), and Adam Lewis (Planetary Group). 3. "ANGEL IN MY VIEW" NAMED WINNER IN BILLBOARD SONGWRITING CONTEST

Rachael has been named a winner in the Dance Category of the 16th Annual Billboard World Song Contest. Her song “Angel In My View” was remixed by the talented producer/remixer Lior Magal, and will appear on her forthcoming remix EP, "FREEMIXED: Vol. 1".

4. NEW REVIEWS FOR "NEW ARRIVALS: VOL 3", MPRESS RECORDS' LATEST CHARITY COMPILATION

February was Eating Disorders Awareness month, and we hope some of you took the opportunity to purchase a copy of "NAV3" - our latest charity compilation which supports National Eating Disorders Association.
