Rachael will be appearing at MPressFest 2008 in NYC on October 22nd, alongside fellow “New Arrivals” artists Tiff Randol, Joy Askew, Todd Carey and Theo Eastwind. Rachael will also headline an official CMJ Showcase on October 24th at Midnight at Kenny's Castaways with her band The Sequins plus special guest Daniel Lapp on violin & trumpet!

As some of you may know, Rachael recently took a trip to Alaska to spread the word about “Chandelier” and serenade the locals, and you can read all about her musical and miscellaneous adventures over at Rachael's MySpace page. Thanks to her tour manager Meredith, there are plenty of photos from the trip (and actual proof that they did in fact fly to Seldovia in a four-passenger plane - yikes!)

Attending their Fashion Week party appropriately titled "Rock 'N Roll Never Looked So Beautiful" in NYC last month, Rachael was invited by Semi Precious Weapons to walk the red carpet — presented by Page Six Magazine (surreal!) — in a self-designed ensemble inspired by the band's signature garage-glam style. As Rachael raves, "(front-man) Justin Tranter is an effortlessly glamorous and fearless rockstar, with an incredible voice.
