On Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 12:30pm, Rachael will appear on an Offical CMJ 2011 Panel: "Musical Hats: Doing the Jobs of 50+ People All By Yourself?" Moderated by Jennifer Grassman of The Washington Times Group, the panel will focus on how artists can organize, prioritize and strategize their professional, social and family lives. Also joining Rachael on the panel will be:

2. CATCH RACHAEL SAGE & THE SEQUINS' OFFICIAL CMJ SHOWCASE, 10/21
On Friday Oct. 21 at 3:30pm, Rachael and her band The Sequins will perform an official showcase as part of MPressFest CMJ 2011! Rachael's favorite intimate NYC venue, Rockwood Music Hall, is hosting the event, and sponsors include Zico Coconut Water, Sobieski Vodka, Blurt Magazine & Powderfinger Promotions! The whole event runs 2-5pm, and will also feature sets from amazingly talented singer-songwriters Avi Wisnia, Seth Glier, Alex Wong & Laura Warshauer.
What: 5th Annual MPressFest CMJ 2011 Official Showcase*

3. JOE'S PUB TIX ON SALE FOR RACHAEL'S NOVEMBER HEADLINE SHOW!
On November 2nd, Rachael Sage will return to NYC's Joe's Pub for the first time since May 2010, to headline the Piano Driven Women benefit sponsored by Inherent Artists Music and Tinderbox Arts. All the proceeds from this show will benefit the Mill Street Loft Outreach Program, that helps to support adolescent women.
The event will feature Sage, in a rare solo set at the acoustic piano, previewing songs from her forthcoming 10th album "Haunted By You". Rachael will headline an impressive bill that will include her friends & fellow piano-based songstresses: Allison Tartalia, Greta Gertler and Alyson Greenfield.

4. CONNECT WITH RACHAEL @ FOLK ALLIANCE 2012
For the umpteenth year in a row (yes, we've lost count...), Rachael & the MPress Records Team will be attending the Folk Alliance International Conference in Memphis, TN — and believe or or not, planning has already begun for this unique acoustic music event that just happens to be Rachael's favorite annual gathering! If you're a concert presenter, promoter, radio DJ etc. who'd like to connect with Rachael and MPress at Folk Alliance in February, please contact us. Between now and the end of the year, we'll be proactively seeking opportunities for Rachael to perform as much as possible during the conference, so we'd love to hear from you! :)
5. MELISSA FERRICK CHARTS ON BILLBOARD, SETH GLIER DEBUTS AT BB KING'S & MORE...
There's nothing like feeling nachus* for your uber-talented peers, and this past month Rachael had plenty to be excited about:
MPress label-mate & indie icon Melissa Ferrick debuted on the Billboard Heat Seekers Chart with her brand-new MPress release, "Still Right Here"!- Seth Glier, whose second album "The Next Right Thing" came out earlier this year on MPress, recently debuted at the lengendary NYC club BB King's, supporting his friend and mentor Edwin McCain. Woohoo!
- Melissa Ferrick's new video, directed by Stephanie Stender, was exclusively premiered by The Huffington Post, and you can watch it now on YouTube!
Seth Glier has partnered with Feeding America to help raise awareness and collect food donations, & will be headlining venues across the Northeast this fall. Visit his web site for more info...

6. SPRING TOUR PLANNING UNDERWAY: HELP BRING RACHAEL TO YOUR TOWN!
Thanks so much to everyone who has already reached out to Rachael & her tour manager on Facebook or via email with club, festival and house concert ideas for 2012! Please keep 'em coming, and we'll do our very best to make sure she comes through your town/city on her 2012 "Haunted By You" CD Release tour.
To help you keep those ideas/requests coming, here's a rough outline of how we see this tour unfolding; geography was Rachael's poorest subject, but thankfully her tour manager Meredith is a masterful navigator whose nickname is "Mistress GPS".
